Wood's Home Furnishings was started in 1969 by Harold Wood. At first, they sold appliances and televisions. As time went on and they grew a larger customer base, Harold's son Vincent Wood came on board full time with the company. By the early 90's the company started moving away from appliances and televisions and started adding high end furniture to their inventory. Vincent, now co-owner has been with the company for over 30 years. Currently they carry products that can fulfill all your furniture needs. They have in stock and special order for living room, dinning, bedroom, mattresses, and accessories. By being in Louisburg and having lower overhead than stores in larger cities, they can sell a better-quality product for much less.
